I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, BSID, with Texas Professional Teaching Certification in Music, English, and Elementary Education. My educational background and my ongoing piano studies give me the expertise to tailor lessons to individual learning styles and goals. In addition to owning Sonata Studio, my experience includes teaching music in public schools, serving
as a church pianist and organist, and as an accompanist for instrumental and vocal students.
I am an active member of East Texas Music Teachers Association, an affiliate of Music Teachers National Association. I continue to study the fine art of playing the piano and the intricate art of teaching others to make music as well. Sonata Studio gives me the opportunity to do what I love best - teach others to play the piano. I believe that making music enriches the lives of both the musician and the listener.
