Q: What ages and levels do you teach?
A: Preschool through adult, all levels.
A: Yes. I include theory in lessons and use workbooks and computer programs for home assignments.
A: Practice requirements depend on the age and ability of the student and are determined on an individual basis. Consistent, regular practice is expected and required in order for progress to occur.
A: $1140 annually for weekly 30-minute lessons, payable in monthly installments of $95.
A: Music, workbooks, and entry fees for TMTA and other events outside the studio are not included in tuition. There is a also a $20 recital fee per family for each recital.
A: Yes. Recitals will be presented in December and May. See Studio Calendar page for specifics.
A: Yes, students can choose to participate in theory exams, Fall Festival, Achievement Auditions, Ensembles and more.
Q: What days do you teach?
A: Monday-Tuesday in Tyler, Wednesday-Friday in McKinney. Please call or email for current schedule openings.
Q: Do you offer summer lessons?
A: Yes. Summer lesson are encouraged and are figured into tuition payments. I offer flexible scheduling, including group lessons, to help accommodate summer schedules.
Q: If a student has a conflict with a lesson or is ill, can he/she reschedule a make-up lesson?
A: There is not time in my teaching schedule for make up lessons. You may choose to be included in a lesson exchange list for unavoidable schedule conflicts.
